Do travel trailers have to run on propane?

So i was thinking of buying a travel trailer to live in but I realized that propane is very expensive and thats what you have to use to heat them esp in the winter. Is their any other way to heat trailers or are there specific trailers that don't run using propane?|||I used an electric ceramic heater from wal mart for a long time. Worked great.
