Going to travel with a tow behind travel trailer. Some campgrounds say "modem friendly", some say "phone internet access central location" %26amp; some say "wireless instant internet access." U need a laptop with built in 54g wi-fi and plenty of USB ports to hook up accessories as u need. Laptop will take less space and wi-fi will get u fast wireless connection. U may also consider getting Highspeed wireless card from Sprint or Cingular, it works just like cell phone. I'd recommend a laptop, because the "access central location" means you have to take your computer over to the office or the community hall and plug into the internet there.

id go with a laptop,,,i got this one from ebay,got a very good deal on it,and it has a built in modem,dsl port,and is wireless capable.im not sure,im thinking that most laptops these days come like that.also,they are very compact,you can still hook up a printer or anything else that you might need to hook up to a computor.What is the best computer to buy to take in a travel trailer?
I have a LG LW60 with wireless and ethernet and usb . this covers all my bases wehre ever I go. I have had no problems and have been able to connect where ever I go.
