Does Texas require travel trailers to be titled?

Absoluty they do. It must be registered and inspected. It is only exempt from inspection if it's less than 4500 pounds.

Travel Trailers - are registered according to the gross weight.





New or Out-of-State Travel Trailers


The empty weight or shipping weight as reflected on the evidence of ownership, for example, show the weight from the Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) or


Out-of-State title.
