Travel Trailers?
I am looking to buy a travel trailer that will handle 6 people--4 kids so a bunk house would be great--ideas?|||I have a Keystone Outback 28rsds. It says it will sleep 10, but that will only work if 4 of them are tiny. My trailer has a bunkhouse in the front with 4 bunk beds. We love it!|||You can get a travel trailer laid out however you want if you buy it from a dealer. I just looked at one last week that had 4 bunks in the rear and a queen size in the front. Go to a show room to check things out and get a better idea of what is available. You'll be surprised.|||"Pilgrim" makes a reasonably-priced hard side. Pop ups are considerably cheaper and believe it or not if you are interested in buying used, E-Bay is an excellent source. My dad has bought and sold travel trailers on E-Bay with great success. Biggest detail to work out ahead of time is what are you going to pull it with? - if you want the gas mileage of a 6 cyl car/truck for pulling, then a pop up is obviously lighter weight and then next by weight would maybe be one of the "hybrids" that have a hard body living area with pull out queen or king-sized beds on each end. PPL Motorhomes (on line) has all classes for perusal and shows floor plans and interior shots to give you an idea what you are leaning towards b/4 you actually go out to start pricing them.
