What are the best small travel trailers?

Scamp travel trailers|||It is actually hard to say which one is best. Go to several reputable dealers, that sell different brands, and look at many different brands. You will eventually find one that jumps out at you. Most all the trailers have the same type equipment build by the same manufactor. There is just not THAT many different appliances made for RVs. Get a friend that is knowledgeble, about travel trailers, to go with you. IF you are looking at a used camper, fire ALL the appliances up to make sure they work. Make SURE you have a good hand light. Go through the camper looking for leaks. Look for water stains on the ceiling? Is the paneling turning grayish/white around windows and/or the floor? Look in side EVERY cabinet, piece of furniture, under and around the bed for evidence of leaks. Don't miss a corner!!! IF the floor is soft, ANYWHERE, forget it. If the paneling is turning graish/white, forget it. This will usually mean that there is a water leak and the paneling is beginning to rot. IF the paneling is beginning to rot, you can bet that the frame behind the paneling is GONE also. I learned this from experience. Tearing glued on paneling off to replace the frame work and paneling is a tough job. If you buy paneling from a RV dealer you will pay around $50 to $70 for it per sheet. IF you need paneling, take a piece of the old paneling, from the trailer, to a hardware store and match it. A very close match will usually look just fine since there are so many windows, curtains and such. Just be careful WHAT you buy. Pops|||I used to live in a caravan...
